When studying to become an engineer, I found the equity roadblocks to be even more challenging than my coding courses.
For many young women, especially women of color, it is difficult to show up as ourselves and overcome systemic challenges to navigate a successful career in technology. Not only do we need to build strong technical skillsets, we also need opportunities that will help us claim our seat at the table to help build a brighter future for all.
